People are at the front and centre of what we do – those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Our clients – those who are already using Stonepillow hostels, hubs and services. Our staff and volunteers. But campaigning is also an important strand of our work.
Engaging with public and private agencies
Campaigning for an end to homelessness
“The reassurance and support is on a level you would not expect and without it, I think I would be still in a tent struggling”
We are engaged with a range of other public and private agencies and partners in order to influence and create the conditions which would make our services less necessary:
All Stonepillow staff are committed to our values: client-first; collaboration; diversity; innovation; quality; respect; kindness and professionalism.
- Ending rough sleeping and reducing homelessness both locally and nationally.
- Providing more affordable and good quality housing for all those who are vulnerable and in need.
- Achieving a system-wide approach to tackling the issues that cause homelessness.
There is never a single solution to a complex issue, and so we aim to bring our expertise and hands-on experience to debates, policy-making and service provision.
