Stonepillow have launched our winter appeal, letting people know they can make the difference for those living on the streets in West Sussex. The appeal Help Restore Hope will help fund our two day hubs, which provide a lifeline to people who are homeless throughout the year.
Running from 27 November to 12 January 2026, the appeal shares the experience of Floyd*, who is facing a cold winter on the streets, unseen, unheard and alone.
Our short film shows the difference the support from our hubs makes for him.
*Floyd is an alias for a Stonepillow client who shared his story with us. Floyd is portrayed by an actor.
Help keep our hubs open
Floyd was just one of 725 local people we supported through our hubs last year, most returning multiple times.
More than just a warm place to be, the hubs offer dignity, safety and connection for homeless people facing extreme hardship every day.
We’re asking for the local community’s help to make this winter look different for people like Floyd. A donation of any amount will make a real difference to keeping our hubs open so we can keep our vital services running.
This support will provide both immediate help and future hope for homeless people in Chichester, Bognor and across the West Sussex area.
We know Christmas is a difficult time for many. If people aren’t able to give at this time, they can still help us spread the word by sharing our video and social posts with friends and family.
