Our CEO Hilary Bartle was honoured to be presented with the award for Specialist Housing/Accommodation Champion at the G15 Community Awards last week.
“It was a privilege to attend the G15 Awards evening last week and witness the incredible work of the voluntary and community sector in transforming lives across all ages and localities.
I was deeply honoured to accept an award on behalf of Stonepillow, recognising our commitment to providing excellent supported housing and advocating for effective, positive accommodation solutions.
For over 40 years, I have dedicated my career to championing the needs of those who require housing with support to help them sustain and improve their lives. At Stonepillow, our mission is to prevent homelessness and restore lives, putting our clients at the heart of everything we do. This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff, volunteers, trustees, and clients, all of whom play a vital role in achieving our goals.
These are challenging times for the non-profit sector, with funding freezes, budget cuts, rising national insurance contributions and inflationary uplifts none of which are reflected in contract values. Despite these pressures, the demand for our services continues to grow.
Receiving this recognition from our peers with special thanks to Hyde for the nomination is both uplifting and motivating. It strengthens our resolve to continue expanding our impact and delivering on our mission.”
