The day
Gather at the Cathedral Green for a warm-up and stretching session before we set off at 10:00 am.
Walk along with our trek stewards or follow the 8-mile route at your own pace.
You’ll be welcomed over the finish line at Bognor Sailing Club, right on the seafront. There’ll be chance to rest your legs as you celebrate your achievement.
The route
Starting from the iconic Chichester Cathedral, this 8-mile trek over gentle terrain uses pavements, a short section of county lane, unpaved footpaths and fields to reach the coast.
Please note that there are two footbridges which have a number of steps, and a narrow wooden footbridge.
The route is dog-friendly, but they must be on leads at all times.
