Once we receive your registration form, we will invite you to meet us for a tour of the relevant project, meet other volunteers and meet the staff team. We will also explain the volunteer roles and how they are an important part of achieving Stonepillow’s mission and vision.

We will discuss your background and the skills you can offer to Stonepillow, and discuss which volunteer opportunity may suit you. The volunteer coordinator will also discuss how we will support you to ensure you are receiving the best volunteer experience possible.

In some cases, a DBS check may be required. This is usually only if your role involves working on a 1:1 basis or in a potentially sensitive environment with a client (for example, a dentist, counsellor or translator). We also require two character references for volunteers that wish to undertake such roles.

We look forward to welcoming new volunteers on board and we are extremely grateful for your time and support. We could not run our services without you.
