Police donation to support Stonepillow

Funds from a police charity are helping Stonepillow to provide services to support the homeless and rough sleepers in Arun and Chichester.
The £500 donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from the sale of unclaimed lost property and property confiscated by order of the courts and then sold.
Sarah Dakin, Fundraising and Communications Manager at Stonepillow, said; "We are most grateful for the valued donation which will help ensure that we can continue this vital work providing a complete recovery journey focusing on improving health and wellbeing, and sustaining independent living.
“Working closely in partnership with our Local Authority colleagues in Arun and Chichester we continue responding to the challenges faced by those who are homeless and rough sleeping.
Stonepillow focuses on providing safe, secure, high-quality accommodation, support with mental health, recovery and wellbeing, fresh food, and essential provisions to keep clients safe and well during the pandemic.
PC Tessa Heath of Sussex Police said: "We have been really moved by the great work Stonepillow do now and for the future, and are very glad to be able to take this modest opportunity to help."
