Windswept Autumn Thanks

We recently received our latest donation of homemade cottage pies from Thomas A Beckett Church. Many thanks to Angela Halfacree and everyone who contributed, they are much appreciated by the clients!

We were delighted to receive a donation of £1972.65 from the Bosham Meeting Point. We are grateful to the people of Bosham who contributed so generously, and to the Bosham Meeting Point for gathering the donations and choosing to give to Stonepillow.

Many thanks to the Chichester Baptist Church for their generous donation of £400. Our thanks go to the congregation who contributed.

We would like to thank Mary Butterworth, Brown Owl Harriett and the Graffham Brownies for organising the baking of a large quantity of apple crumbles by the Graffham Brownies and the congregation of Graffham Parish. Mary also organized the delivery from Graffham of the baked crumbles to our Night Shelter. They will be shared among our Projects and will no doubt be a delicious and warming pudding at meal times for our clients over the coming months.

Many thanks to St Paul’s Church, Chichester, for their donation of £461. Our thanks go to the congregation who contributed.

The children of St Andrew’s, Tangmere, held their first ever sleep over in their church on Saturday 13th July. They recently sent in the funds they raised, which totaled £105. We are very grateful for their efforts.

The children had a fantastic time, enjoying a BBQ and playing Poppom123 and wink murder before settling down and managing to get some sleep before the bacon sandwiches arrived in the morning. The church organisers are already planning next year’s event. Our thanks go to the children, parents and church alike for raising awareness and funds for our cause.
