Support Worker (Chichester Hub)

Based in Chichester
Working on a 4 on 2 off shift (8hrs per day 8:30am – 5:00pm)
Salary £17,576 per annum
Rising on a Scale £17,922 - £19,974pa following successful completion of probation 

You will be working within Stonepillow’s homeless drop-in Day Centre that provides clients with access to a range of facilities including food, shower and laundry facilities as well as assistance with benefit claims, housing options, an onsite GP surgery and a needle exchange service.

Ideally you will have experience of working with homelessness as well as substance misuse and/or mental health issues. A working knowledge of safeguarding and implementing individual support plans and risk assessments are desirable.

It is essential that you will have a non-judgmental and enabling approach to supporting single homeless and vulnerable adults and have experience and knowledge of Health, Housing and Work issues facing service users who are in recovery.
