Sales & Volunteer coordinator
37 hours per week (usually Mon – Fri but occasional weekend days may be required)
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
Stonepillow has social enterprise projects in Chichester and Bognor Regis comprising a large retail warehouse and a high street charity shop; selling predominantly furniture, white goods and electrical products, and run with the assistance of clients and other volunteers.
Based at our Retail Warehouse in Terminus Road, Chichester, you will maximise income through sales, including online sales, of stonepillow retail, in both of our current outlets and others as they are acquired, by using commercial decision making and creative flair.
Maintaining high levels of merchandising and housekeeping whilst managing the stock process to ensure correct density levels and stock rotation should come naturally. You will be responsible for the daily running of the shops and management of sales staff and volunteers in both sites.
You will need to be confident, inspiring, enterprising and influential. You will also be happy to roll up your sleeves and lead by example in your aim to develop and empower your team. Previous charity retail and volunteer management experience an advantage particularly of a furniture outlet.
It is essential that you will have a non-judgmental and enabling approach to supporting single homeless and vulnerable adults.
