Restore Bikes Sell at Bike Jumble!

Chi Cycle Bike Jumble – Saturday 15th June at St Paul’s Church.

We would like to say Thank You to Sarah Sharp for inviting us to take part in the Bike Jumble, which was the opening event of the District Council’s Cycling Festival.

We had a fundraising stall and information stand, with a large collection of second hand bicycles from the Bike Shed at our Restore Project. Many of these had been repaired by our Bike Shed volunteer Nick, who also did a great job as our bike salesperson for the event, selling 5 bikes in total.

In addition we would like to thank Nigel Budgen, General Manager at Hillier Garden Centre Chichester, for donating a second hand gazebo for the Bike Jumble, which will also be a great help for our future fundraising efforts!

Many thanks to Justin White, Heather Hyde and our Restore team volunteers Alastair, Kyle, Nick and Claire, for doing a great job at the Bike Jumble, especially to Justin for managing to collect over £120, and to Heather for baking an amazing white chocolate and banana cake and donating items for the tombola.

Finally, thanks to Whipped and Baked, Lucy Newton and Sarah Clarke for their cake donations - they were a great help and very popular!

We raised £430 in total at the Bike Jumble!
