Our Chief Executive

Geoffrey Willis

The Chief Executive is the principal adviser to the Board of Trustees and is responsible to them for ensuring the delivery of Stonepillow's Objectives and Business Plan.

Geoffrey, who was brought up in Sussex on the Ashdown Forest and studied Social Psychology at Sussex University, joined Stonepillow in July 2016.

He has extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, having worked within Health, Education, and Social Care charities. Most recently Geoffrey worked as Director of Fundraising and Marketing for Alabaré Christian Care & Support, a homeless charity supporting vulnerable adults in the South West of England and across Wales.

Geoffrey’s career, which spans over 30 years, has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people and began when he worked as a Home Help enabling elderly people to remain in their own homes for longer.

“I am delighted to be part of the team at Stonepillow. I feel passionately about leading an organisation that puts the welfare of homeless and vulnerable people at the heart of everything it does and I am committed to building on the great achievements that have already been made” said Geoffrey “With homelessness on the rise and difficult times ahead, I will be working hard with staff and volunteers to support the huge range of people who need our help”.

Geoffrey lives in Hampshire and has two children who have now left home and have been replaced by Geoffrey’s six bantams and three geese!
